Who are we and what do we do?
Better Recovery Group in an Independent Rehabilitation Provider which assists the injured personnel's recovery and rehabilitation through their workers compensation /CTP injury case. Usually your NTD/GP will be questioned by the insurer with the following questions, and we conduct assessments to help your doctors to find out:
-
How severely are you injured?
-
Can you return to work right now? If not, how long would it take?
-
Will you likely to return to pre-injury employment based on the nature of your injury?
-
Do you need support for personnel care/domestic duties after your injury/surgery?
-
Are the duties being provided by your employer suitable for your medical condition?
We also provide case management by coordinating treatments recommended and having them approved by the insurer, as well as communicating with your employer/ insurer to address your needs, concerns and barriers during your rehabilitation and return to work program.
Do you must have a Rehabilitation Provider involved for your case?
Usually if a Workers Compensation/CTP injury occurred, the insurer/employer will appoint their panel rehabilitation provider at some stage to facilitate your return to work & case closure, if the you didn't nominated your own provider.
Can I nominated my own provider?
Yes! Most of the injured patients don't know that they have the ultimate right by law to choose their own rehab provider, just like they have the right to choose their own doctor/physio/psychologist etc.
Why is Rehabilitation Provider Important?

What is the difference between us and the Insurer Nominated Provider/ Panel Providers?
A panel provider from the insurance company is required to follow strict deadlines and timeframes to ensure the outcome of your return to work, finalisation of treatment, and case closure.
However as an independent rehabilitation provider, we do not receive case from the insurer, therefore do not have to adhere to insurer's timeline. We provide our professional service solely based on your true medical condition and needs.
Do I have to pay for my services?
No, it is the same as you see your doctors, physio, psychologist that all your service expenses are covered by the government scheme of workers compensation system, therefore you don't have to pay for your service with us.
